I think they new they would be caught blood doping. They thought they would raise the huge ruckus to soften the blow.

    what do you think?

every country dopes......but when you get caught they make such a deal about it.....just allow them to use whatever at their own risk...saves alot of scandals considering many atheletes are on drugs of some sort or another...

Russians have less money than western athlets to use dopes who wouldn't be detected by CIO officer (who are not so efficient).

USA is the major cheater of all times.
It was the worse Olympic games I’ve ever seen. It’s a shame for USA not for us. Cowards.

Calm down Serb, every country dopes . We (Germans) sell our doping athletes to others . I hope the warranty for Muehlegg was already expired.

Yeah it sucks to be russian.
Not as much money going to the athletes which helped contribute to lackluster performance.
Getting beat by new countries that used to be Russian Hurts.
So they cheat and get caught.
End up giving up some of the few medals they won.
Government states it's because they aren't feared anymore. (I loved that one)
Losing their hold on all the rigging they used to get away with in skating. (check out how the russian judge scored the women's gold winner for any proof that it was fantasy land)
It's all a conspiracy with the US to blame. (how paranoid can you get)
When the russians could rig something, they were great. When they can't, It's someone elses fault.

                    Whine Cry Whine.

                    RAH

At least it was entertaining. Of course, if they ignore their sports program any further, that's all they'll be good for....Comic relief.

That would be unfair to those who want to compete without using drugs.

Was anyone as surprised as me to see Muehlegg, Lazutina and Danilova get to keep most of the medals they got? Is taking away two gold medals in total and not allowing them to participate in the closing ceremonies enough of a disincentive?

I think they should be banned for an extended period of time, couldn´t IOC draft Ming for this purpose or something? Next Winter Olympics could be hold in Mingapulco...
