I can name dozens of harmful things Christians have done in the past and continue to do today. From harassing abortion clinics to trying to tear down the wall of separation between Church and state. Crusades, the opression of women, homophobia and the promortion of superstitions. I can think of little if anything good that's come out of Christianity.

I realize this may be hard for one so logical as yourself to fathom, but christianity has been a moral backbone for a couple thousand years. you can cry that christian morals aren't morals, etc, all you want, but the fact remains. Christianity has caused a vast amount of good in the day to day relations of people for a very long time. If you can't see this, then you are a fool like your friend.

The original Greek text describes the last two behaviors as malakoi and arsenokoitai. Although this is often translated by many modern Bibles as homosexual, we can be fairly certain that this is not the meaning that Paul wanted to convey. It can reasonablly be concluded from that he meant something different from male-male adult sex.

The complete passage (verses 21-28) describes how ex-Christians engaged in orgiastic, presumably heterosexual sexual activities. Later God "gave them over" to something new: homosexual behavior. This implies that throughout their lifetime they had had a heterosexual orientation and had engaged only in heterosexual sex. God influenced them so that they engaged in homosexual sex. This was, for them, an unnatural activity. They were criticized because they were engaged in sexual activity which was unnatural for them.

1 Timothy: "1:10
For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;"

These verses also refer to malakoi arsenokoitai which has been variously translated as homosexuals, sexual perverts, pederasts, etc in various versions of the Bible and appears to have no direct relationship to homosexuality.

I want to close this post by saying that homosexual behavior, in and of itself, is not intrinsically sinful any more than heterosexual behavior is. Either can be sinful if they involve exploitation or manipulation or are not carried out safely in a healthy and committed relationship.

Liberals attack the family. Liberals uphold unwholesome acts. Liberals oppose God and the God-given constitution of the great USA. Liberals wish to remove one's right to pray in schools and other public places. The USA was founded on belief in God, the almighty. If you don't like this fact about America, then get out.

Many do not understand my faith nor my point of view. That is fine. Here in the USA we still have the right to exercise our freedom of speech. My opinions do not mean I am uneducated nor lack intelligence. Quit the contrary. I have an extensive education and am very intelligent - don't associate with MENSA, they annoy me. However, liberal-minded people wish to silence us in America. They wish only their opinions to be heard, and not the opinions of other people.
