I am sorry for your loss... my thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep the love that the two of you shared in your heart."Maybe there's a god above, and all I ever learned from love... was how to shoot at someone who out-drew you. It's not a cry you can hear at night. It's not somebody who's seen the light. It's a cold and It's a broken hallelujah." ~ Cohen

Terrible news.
I wish you strength and a lasting memory of the good times, Sprayber.
My thoughts will be with you.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

I'm sorry to hear this, Spray...maybe something in the following will help?
Hang tough.
Death--- the last sleep? No the final awakening.
---Walter Scott
I look at life as a gift of God. Now that he wants it back I have no right to complain.
---Joyce Cary
Unto God, the Lord belong the issues of death.

Good men must die, but death can not kill their names
---Proverbs
It is good to die before one has done anything deserving death.
-Anaxandrides
There is a dignity in dying that doctors should not dare to deny.

I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal
of meeting me is another matter.
-Winston Churchill
Do not seek death. Death will find you.
But seek the road which makes death a fulfillment.
-Dag Hammarskjöld
We cannot banish dangers, but we can banish fears. We must not demean life by
standing in awe of death.
-David SarnoffLife and death is a grave matter;
all things pass quickly away.
Each of you must be completely alert;
never neglectful, never indulgent.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss.
I present to you my deepest condolences and possibly the only advice one could give at such a time.
Remember all the best times you've had together. Cherish your love and your memories and Rebecca will be with you, in your thoughts, and in your heart.
I wanted to add something poetic, to do you some good, or maybe to do myself some good. I can't find anything appropriate so here goes:
some times, it is the most beautiful of flowers
that are picked in their peak
to be weaven together into a heavenly bouquet
to signify the contrast in our world.
a contrast of life and death
beauty and beastality, tranquility and sorrow.
those feelings which go together so easily.
bitterly sweet, only a drop at a time
only to be taken away for good
it is the moment when our lives begin
that they are destined to death
each brith is a death, and each death is a birth
tragedy is greater, darker, than you and I
together we stand, loving and protecting
each other, from the cry within our selves.
keep your friends and family close,
yourself and her memory closer
and keep her legacy by living your life
...I hope this means something. It's what I feel right now.
Dima A. Sirotnikov.

life is lost
but love will stay
don't be afraid
there will be always a bit of your heart open to her.
love is pain but the pain makes it worth living, still even though she is gone she will be a part of you forever
and you have to live
Be strong

I remember recently hearing someone say that grief disappears "like a thief in the night; no one knows the hour," words borrowed from another context obviously. I'd had grief on my mind since the loss of my sister last autumn. It was a comfort to know that I could awaken some morning -- without worrying about when -- and a crushing weight will have been lifted.
Everything we say is so inadequate Sprayber. I'm sorry for your loss."When all else fails, a pigheaded refusal to look facts in the face will see us through." -- General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett
