I posted this poll earlier. And you had a question about it. This is many months ago and you probably don't remember. Not a big deal.

Simply specify what was asked in the poll and what the results were if you want me to explain the result.
As I've told you before I read this in a scandinavian newspaper. It was a short article and only reported the conclusion: The austrians are the proudest ppl on earth. Care to explain why you're like that? Or are you ppl a humble lot and understand nothing?

Today´s Christianity is completely intolerant? Islam is completely intolerant towards Christians? Since when?

Your posts are the perfect trolls, and, even worse, later on you deny it, hoping people forget what you said, and then you try to turn the tables with hypocritical babble. Taking you serious would be a grave error of judgement.

Hear hear Comrade. Glad to see a European posting sense again. Roland and Grave were a bit insulted, but not totally wrong. I went a little overboard in my angry reply to sikander. SORRY

But when I see the replies snakeanders gives you... I must say that if sikander/imran/ramo are 'your better' or mine as he claims, then there's not much hope for serious posting.

          Insulted ? LOL.

About the poll, I can't remember that one, but as long as you don't phrase it as "why are you beating your wife"....

"The austrians are the proudest ppl on earth."

I think I remember a poll that put us in the nr 1 proud-of-country spot in the EU - I'd be very surprised if we could keep up with American nationalism.

Explaining that ? Hmmm... ever read Doderer or Bernhard ? Or Roth ? I don't really know why, but I love this country of Kakanian absurdities. Ah yes, Kafka ?

One reason is that while regional traditions are very old, we are quite young as a nation. Roughly 57 years.

Noone supasses american arrogance. See sikanders post about teenagers posting more thoughtful than me. And they were just correcting me for being harsh... Any minute now sikander will come in here and being the better poster he will post better posts than me... And so will his american friends He actually wrote that.... Proves his point about being the better poster... or perhaps not....

Kakanian? I've read Kafka. Is it like Kafka where you live

Regional... don't forget your heritage - Austria-Hungary which was a great power. Seems tho that the austrians were heckling the hungarian side; raids, pillages, etc.

Only 57 years, younger than the us - if youngness is the factor you guys should be more arrogant, but you're not. As I've said and like you've noticed: There's nothing like good old fashioned american arrogance. Better posters or NOT

Comparing american vs. Austrian arrogance - where does my sig fit into this, Roland

You have a quasi-religious faith in scandinavian newspapers, it seems.

              "Kakanian?"

              "Kakanien", "kakanisch", in german.

"I've read Kafka. Is it like Kafka where you live"

Where do you think Kafka got that from ?

"Seems tho that the austrians were heckling the hungarian side; raids, pillages, etc."

That should be relatively balanced. Apart from the 10th century stuff, we have Corvinus and the Kuruzzen.

The thread you provided a link to is a thread dealing with flood myths, including the Hebrew flood myth included in the Bible. Early Christianity can be traced back certainly no further than 2000 years. How is a post about a period over 1000 years before Christianity a post about early Christianity? I quit going to church 28 years ago, but I do remember that Noah was well before Jesus. You are awfully proud of the sort of weak reasoning that a Sunday school class could discredit instantly. If this is what you meant by my posting about early Christianity, than you are not a liar, but you are again proving that you are incapable of reading and comprehending what others post.

And you? Not been redeemed by the blood? Sorry, but I have to warn you. It's biblical. Hell and all its horrors await. And yes in this life too. You're cursed I'm sure you know. Those who will not believe are, and that's biblical too. Yes, of course I can come up with scriptures. A lot of them. How about some lenghty theology stuff on it?
I can't imagine how He manages to get a word in edgewise. I have been 'redeemed' by the blood, but I have renounced Christianity to follow what I consider a more moral and truer path for myself. Don't worry, I don't prosletyze, I trust others to find their own way. As for being cursed, that feeling ended as soon as I quit spending every Sunday in torment and started watching and playing football instead.

I'd be interested in seeing where in Genesis it mentions Christ being there. I wonder how the Jews could have missed that? As for me posting on early Christianity at Apolyton, I do not recall doing so before this thread, but I can't say with certainty that I haven't. I had a feeling that you were being lazy though and writing off what I had said like you've heard it all before from me (which is basically what you said). I don't doubt that any less at this point.

I'm not saying that I have no Indian blood in me, in fact I do. Nevertheless your logic is faulty if you assume that someone who has Indian blood is necessarily related to one of the few Indians killed by the Vikings in Canada. My people are from the Southern U.S., and it's extremely unlikely that any of them were killed by the Vikings, even with the tendency for one's ancestors to double in number every generation.

I knew that would piss you off. You talk to your God every day, but let someone else have a spiritual experience which doesn't involve your jealous God, and suddenly that person is stuck up. If you want to be a Christian fine, some of my best friends are Christians. But you owe it to yourself to be a good Christian. You should lead by example, and not only know the meaning of humility but be able to excercize it. Good luck with all of that.

Christ is a red thread througout the bible. Remember Jesus saying to the pharisees that Moses wrote about him:

John 5:46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote of me.

The Jews missed Christ being the Messiah.

Hey, at least I'm not claiming that all Scandanavians are stupid / false simply because I have a disagreement with one. Take a look at the things you have said in this thread. At least my swipes at your intelligence are easily proven or disproven by the material close at hand.

                                Nitpicking.
