Haider. I guess because it's a good helmet design. Haider.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

No, but Wehrmacht attire certainly does. Next time you adopt SS uniforms and tell me this is because they were so efficient.

I often wonder about the helmet thing too.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

The US admin certainly doesn´t have a problem with Haider. Same flock. Btw, he got only half as many votes as Bush.

                Typical American ignorance, again. 27%.

Sounds like you know a lot about Nazism and Haider. Probably because you're infatuated with them.

So the Austrian Army's use of US designed suppliments to the combat attire symbolizes the Austrian comittment to US style capitalism? Come on.

Not knowing a lot about anything is only a virtue on your side of the ocean. There is a lot of research done about the Nazi era in Austria; what you know about it, if anything, probably derives from that research. Btw, you can research an item without being infatuated with it. I know a lot about the US, too, but I am far from being infatuated.

Unfortunately it *does* symbolize the wish of Austrian army circles to join NATO. Needless to state, I do not share that wish. Btw, those are the circles close to Haider.

I'm sorry, y'all are the experts at creating Nazi idols. I'm afraid we don't have experience with it. I suggest that you examine the context of Nazism Haider.
