I have nothing to compensate about, because I obviously do not feel responsible for anything happening before my birth. Being closer to the place of origin just means I know a lot more about Nazism than clueless Amerians do, and am in a better position to recognize it when I see it.

I hate when people in other countries automatically assume that Americans are stupid, arrogant as*munches. That may be true for a small # of us, but its like that in every country. Some of us actually really care about the outside world and the cultures. And we know not to generalize, say, Austrians on this account. Yet you continue to generalize us. Who is ignorant now?
