I made the AVS myself some year ago. It was inspired by a live recording of Metallica's Enter Sandman.

It's a firey wavy sort of things, with plenty of symmetry and very beat dependant.

    I haven't updated it for a while.

What did you attach it to?!

It seems XP eats alot of memory though. How much will the performance decrease if i change from my current ME to XP? I got 256 Mb RAM, 550 Mhz PIII. I prefer speed over anything, maximum speed decrease 10-15 %.
      You can run XP fine

Don't worry, I'm running it on a PIII - 600 MHz with 256 MB RAM, and it's going fine

      Only I prefer the Win2000-look

Say do you by chance have a dutch version of Windows XP home?

          I run Windows XP on a P3 800 w/ 384MB of RAM and a P3 600 w/ 256MB and a P3 600 w/ 512MB of RAM, and they all run just fine.

I am in the process of making a demo clip
            here's the AVS

            I hold copy rights

when one cracks up metallica and puts it on full screen, preferrably on not to high resolution or it looks too empty, it rocks!

            Update:
            F*CKING ****!!!
THe screen capture util deleted a screen acpture video I really needed! It overwrote it with this file!!!

            SH*T SH*T SH*T SH*T

Hours of working on capturing it and editing it in Premiere all lost.

Here's my AVS. There are two versions, which have inverted colors.

As with Sirotnikov's this looks best FAST. I usually use it on the server at school were I can get 70fps at 32bit at 1024x768.

                Edit, fixed zipfile.

You got three comps?!? Why, do you play Quake against yourself?

Anyway, is there any way to install XP without losing what's currently on my hard drive?

No, I've got five comps. Six come summer.
                      One is a laptop (P3 600 w/ 256MB), the two I mentioned are the main desktops (P3 800 is mine, P3 600 w/ 512MB is family's), and we also have a Pentium 100 and a 486 in the house.

                      Yes.

Why do we keep having the computer?
First the desktop, now we seem to have the same (type) laptop as well...
                        Don't tell me that's a Dell too?

                            The P3 800 Desktop is a Dell Dimension 4100.
                            The P3 600 Desktop is a Dell XPS T600
The P3 600 Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro.

In the summer I'm getting a ~2.5GHz Pentium 4 desktop, and in September about a 1.2-1.3GHz laptop for school.

Oops, I must have corrupted the zip file. Try this one.

I think I'll wait another year and get some Pentium V - 4,000 MHz or something
