      Yep, I picked up on that. But what actually is your Visual Style - the taskbar would suit my new wallpaper I think.

        But you mean something like this?

          A rather poor pic of my desktop:
          Attached Files
          "Paul Hanson, you should give Gibraltar back to the Spanish" - Paiktis, dramatically over-estimating my influence in diplomatic circles.

                Every desktop in this thread has less than 30.

                      You can move your shortcuts into the taskbar, they automatically become Quicklaunch-buttons then.

                        Um... how? They don't drag-and-drop. I can set up a "Desktop" toolbar...

                          1) Right-click on the shortcut(/icon);
                          2) When still "right-clicked", drag icon towards the taskbar;
                          3) When having dragged the icon into the taskbar, let go, and you'll get a menu, just select "move here"

                            Question: How do you shrink a picture to the maximum size allowed by the "attach file" function of vBB, without the quality dropping?

                            Also, if you were to shrink the horizontal dimension to 600, what size would the vertical dimension need to avoid distorting the image?

                              I use Adobe ImageReady (it comes with PhotoShop). It's ideal for resizing images.

                              Because the proportion is 4:3, for a width of 600, you get a height of 450

                                I see. I'm using some crappy software that came free with my scanner, so that may well explain it.
