        Thanks for the digital blasphemy link! How are you changing the colour of your taskbar like that? And copying your desktop without appreciable loss of quality while reducing size?

          In Windows XP, you install the Styles XP thing to let you use third party Windows XP themes. http://www.tgtsoft.com

          Then you hit google and search for XP themes to download.

                  My desktop size is 1280 X 1024 (I think) and I resized using Photoshop 6. The best way is keeping the constraints the same so it doesn't look deformed. You could also try sharpening it too before and after you resize.
