I don't like singing hymns so eternal sleep would be my preference.

              bah..

the people who have life after death expeirences say that they are pretty much aloud to control there little world. One guy who had been clinically dead for 20 minutes in a book I read said

It was not like anything I had imagined. It was like being with everybody you know, forever. no earthly pains or worrys. Simple hapiness and joy..control of anything you wanted. I would say, more than a dream, a real-life dream you can control that is not like a dream, but like living normally. They say I was only dead for a half an hour? It felt like forever. No real feeling or sense of time up there. And when I came back, I was told I had some things to do yet before it was my time. I was upset, but I think I understand now.

              So no Hymm's, thank God

If death was a dream like state I would quite enjoy that. I really like sleeping

I already have the sensation of having lived forever, because I certainly cannot remember ever not existing. I can scarcely believe that one day I shall die.

Well said Bkeeba, that still haunts men worst fears. Thats why I want mine to be quick and painless . Hell I dont even want to know. Sleep would be the best.

But again, I honestly dont think I would want to live forever on earth. But I wouldnt mind coming back in the last days of man...to watch

Screw immortality, I would however, love to have X-Ray vision and be able to Zap people with a few volts from my fingernails.

There's no point living for eternity unless you've got someone to share it with.

If people lived forever you could probably invent some really cool sports and pastimes that took forever to play.

It's amazing how few couples survive 10 years, let alone 100 years or a 1000 years. LOL, what would you call the 1000th anniversary? Californium wedding anniversary?

Well, I think that to live forever on a Paradise Earth would be the reward for put up with you...

Live forever yes, but not on this rotten/greedy Earth.

                              This reminds me John 17:3...

IMO to be dead is the same as being asleep; it's just that you don't wake again, neither keep dreaming. I don't believe in after-life stories.
But I do on resurrection though...
