    Siro, we're Americans.

    We remember the Alamo.

    Think about it.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Remember the Hizballah teract against the Marines HQ in Lebanon? There were similar reports that the Mossad knew about it.

I'd think you'd like the Alamo, seeing how it was the site where revolutionaries died before their imperial oppressors (ie, Texas rebellion again Mexican rule).

That war was started as a general rebellion throught out Mexico against Santa Ana's centralist coup. Most of it was fought ouside of Texas and the revolutionaries in the other mexican states were crushed (the most notable atrocity being the sacking of Zacetecas). Independence foreces only gained the upper hand in among the texas revolutionaires after all other forces of rebbelion other that texas had been defeated, at which point fighting for a federalist Mexico clearly apeared to be a loser and a irrelavancy, with independence to only vialble option left to fight for.

Not really. Maybe if they weren't being backed by another imperial power.

                      LL at KH and Imran.

So, Americans, what do you think about us spying on you?

We knew you're spying on us. As far as I know, the general assumption of the government is that all the communication systems are bugged.

Also, I talked briefly with a girl from AMAN (IMI - Israeli Military Intelligence - very similar in action to NSA, but part of the Military) and she appeared to know alot about Echelon.

So I'd imagine either we know alot, (as you do too), or we workt cooperatively, sharing information (what I hope for) (even though spying on you is much cooler ).

Another part of the investigation has resulted in the detention and arrest of dozens of Israelis working at kiosks in American malls, where they had been selling toys called "Puzzlecar" and "Zoomcopter."

Investigators suspected a front. Shortly after the New York Times and Washington Post reported the detentions of Israelis on immigration charges last month, the carts began vanishing.
                            Zoomcopter?
                            ZOOMCOPTER?!

There's a ****ing zoomcopter stand in the mall, outside the store where I work. The guys that run it are always there, day after day, always shouting out "zoomcopter, always come back" in an accent I can't place.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.
