I say I have a god given right to own a gun. That way I can shoot people that come in my house who I don't like.

It's part of american culture. How could the shootout at O.K. corral have happened if we had gun control back then?

And what about hollywood movies. There is usually at least one gun in every hollywood movie.

If I had, it would have been a clever little rant about how America is truly an egalitarian society, since what used to be the domain of the middle-class (crazy white-collars stalking through their office with automatic weapons) is now open to those who work in factories as well.
