Of course I am coming, you great buffoon

There must be enough Wetherspoons in Leeds anyway, we'll have to meet somewhere that is a bit more easily locatable for all. I would suggest outside the McDonalds in Leeds station; it is just inside the entrance.

This is a possibility for me I suppose. More likely if I could get somewhere to stay up there and not have to come back at night. Could probably stay with my friend Emily in Manchester on the way back.

To make it economically viable I'd have to go via Birmingham or Manchester, not London so it takes 5 hours each way.

Well it would be good to have you there Mike! I was going to go and visit a friend on a sunday and I thought that it would be the same cheap price for a day return on a Saturday but it wasn't. £60 for a day return!!! I can get from here to Amsterdam for a lot less money!

But come if you can, the more the merrier.

Seneca, Oxford is fine with me at some point, although I doubt I will be visiting there until later on in the year or next year though; it is a long way...

OK people, we have competition from the tulip selling, clog-hopping, windmill dwellers. Apart from a dyke comment, did I miss any other stereotypes?

We gotta show 'em that Brit meetings are far superior.

At the mo, its me and Rich. Who else can confirm their presence.

Edit - Thought I made a typo but that is C-L-O-G, and not dog.

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

What about the cannabis and prostitution? How could you forget those?

I am sure Iain and Snapcase will be there, after all it is only 25 miles to Leeds for them and they really have no excuse as they are students and would be doing bugger all else on Saturday...

Sorry guys, err, I've changed my plans, I'm going to the Utrecht meet instead.

Are we meeting at Leeds train station at XII O'clock then? Better e-mail/pm some people my mobile number closer to the time in case we have a "staggered" start.

And yes, 12 noon outside Leeds Station sounds good to me!
