      Even Peckham has a Wetherspoons!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Hull has quite a few of them, but I can't remember the name of a single one of them unfortunately

Leeds sounds best. We can always repair to Joseph's Well if Wetherspoons gets boring.

I'm not too keen on Leeds, parking there is very expensive...

No it's called something like the 'Dover Drover' or something like that, I'll be able to tell you on Friday night..., the name is certainly a departure from the usual 'lunacy'.

There's another one over the hill in Brockley too, 'Brockley Arms' I think? I was there the other week when an old school friend emailed me on that friends reunited site - hadn't seen him for over ten years and he's only been living a few hundred yards away for the last 4 1/2 years...

The Wetherspoons in Bromley was supposed to be called "The Bishop of Rochester", but for technical reasons it can't be named that yet. So as is it has no name, 'cept "The Wetherspoons".

Leeds seems to be the front-runner , York second. Anyone not able to make Leeds? (PH if parking is a problem split it with Snapcase, EiF, and Paul, presuming they hitch a ride)

EiF, which of the four were you planning on? What's its name, and where is it? My last venture to Leeds was a schoolkid on a field trip, so my knowledge of the area is slight to nil..

I don't know... I don't know Leeds that well, I just did a search on the Wetherspoons website.

I do know, however, that one of the most central ones is brand new and pretty big (they were still building it last time I was in Leeds!) so that might be best.

Eastbourne? I would go but I wonder if it would be a meet in pub, considering your ages. Who else is within a reasonable distance of the southeast coastline?

*scares redjon into the belief that these people may actually meet him*
