I doubt that. I'm on the CFL site and 2004 season had PLENTY of blowouts. In fact, it was very rare to see the week where 1 game, out of the 4 played every week (ie, 25% of games every week), wasn't a blowout!
you need to redefine blowout fin the cfl, 21 points isn't that much, Therew have been many ocasions whereteams have come back from much larger defecites in the llast couple of minutes.

Too much offense, not enough defense.
thats funy, why is it that the three strongest teams(TToronto, Montreal and Vancouver) are the ones with strong defences, and the team with the best offence finished second last in the league?

The 3 downs make it more boring, IMO (reduces the strategic consequences of one more down).
Are you crazy? three downs means that every down counts. Three downs means that evry play is important, it turns a knockdown into half a stop instead of just an unimportant play.

21 points is a pretty good margin. That's 3 TD scores (at least). Obviously the team did not come back from the 3 scores and may have been more outplayed than that. What is a blowout? 4 TD scores? 5 TD scores?

        Don't be silly.

Let's see, you have 4 QBs who've thrown for over 5,000 yards. That's almost half of the league. With a good number of running backs that get over 1500 yards. Yep, that's WAY too much offense.

Stong defenses... as opposed to letting everyone score on every play that is?

Are you crazy? three downs means that every down counts. Three downs means that evry play is important, it turns a knockdown into half a stop instead of just an unimportant play.

So, by adding a 4th down, means that one down doesn't count . Are you in 2nd grade or something? Each down counts with 4 downs. Perhaps it is because we have more talented players, but a 'knockdown' shouldn't end a drive by itself.

And with only 2 downs before punt or FG, you can't get those sustained drives which consist for running for 3, 4 yards every play. Those amazing drives that eat up the clock and destroy the defense. What a shame losing that is .

Ok, a not horribly tough one:

Who has the lowest Career ERA (min 1000 innings pitched) in MLB history?

i know pedro has the active player lowest career era. this guy has either had to piitch in the dead ball era or way before, like turn of the century. it might not even be an official record, cuz i dont think they took ERAs till l1917 or something

They had ERAs before 1917, but the record holder played only during the modern era (after 1900). And it is an official record.

              And it isn't Pedro.

I'm betting an old timer here. I would guess eithier Ed Walsh or Christy Mathewson.

Plato's got it. Just looked it up: Ed Walsh, 1.82 ERA.

Bob Gibson ranks #90. So I was a little off.
