  • It's Sports Trivia time!

General forum rules... whoever gets the answer gets to ask the next question, no fair looking it up, etc. etc.

In honor of the late, great NHL:

On the all-time best single-season points list, #1 through #13 all belong to Wayne Gretzky or Mario Lemieux.

Who has the 14th most points in a single-season all time?

(Put another way: only Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux have scored more points in a single season than this player.)

    And here's a hint:

The answer is somewhat surprising, as the only major individual awards the player has won has been the Conn Smythe (playoff MVP) and Selke (best defensive forward) Awards.

I thought you said this was sports trivia.

                  Damn misleading thread titles!

Before Babe Ruth, who held the record for most career homeruns in Major League Baseball?

                          Nope.

Though, perhaps I should have said this one may be a bit difficult, so lemme give a hint:

His entire playing career was before 1900.
