I collect scorn. It's a hobby of mine. I have scorn from the left, scorn form the right. It's a beautiful collection.

Iraq is yours to bleed over, until they can replace you without descending into a fundamentalist hell.

      • was it broken in 93?

I agree that after making it so Saddam couldnt' rule parts of the country, and the oil embargo, it was broken

but before, how was it different from China?

or other first world freindly authoritative nations?

I'm not sure what you mean when the DOW has been parked since he came in. His party has done well, is that a crime of his?

After that speech, I would like to watch and see what he and his admin actually does before heaping further abuse on him.

Who started two wars in sensitive areas of the world that endangered oil deliveries to Europe, Japan, and North America?

            • ok, I agree that on some level; thta was reasojn for war (I am not saying a good reason, or a just reason, but I could imagine people saying that that was a good reasonj)

I was refering to Giancarloes statement that Iraq was already broken

but for the first term we could have the wait and see policy, than we were suppose to vote based upon what we saw

now we have no choice but to pressure against him (well, we could also do a revolution, but I dont' think that generally goes well)

                HAVE A DAY.
<--- Quote by Former U.S. President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt
"And there will be strange events in the skies--signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And down here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up. Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand straight and look up, for your salvation is near!" --Luke 21:25-28
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. --1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

                  • I liked this inaugural speech. It was very visionary, idealistic even, yet at the same time down to earth in that it put into simple and easy-to-understand sentences, the challenges - and eventually the rewards - of working towards enabling people of every country to choose for themselves, to break free from oppression and thus to parttake peacefully in world affairs.

It was well delivered (halleluja!) and he seemed very sincere about it. Certainly the most "presidential" I remember ever seeing George W. Bush.

Hmm. Somehow, I expect Bush to de-emphasize the good bits of individualism and emphasize the bad ones.
