You know a Mac Basher just might argue that their PC could blow this Mac out of the water (as Fez has done), but if you say so you are missing the whole point.
The whole point of Apple's strategy in releasing such a system is to make the Mac more affordable for those who say, "I want a Mac, but I just can't afford one" OR "I just can't justify the cost of buying one because I'm not so sure what I'm getting into." Believe me, I've heard this from PC users too many times to count.
You see, the idea is to help PC users try out the Macintosh to see wether they like it or not (if history has anything to say about this most will be pleased with their purchase), so that it will help them justify the cost of buying a more powerful Macintosh as their next system in the near future.
That's all their is to it. If you say your PC can beat this Mac to the punch then that's not a valid argument because this particular Mac is meant only to promote Apple's more powerful computers. There is no need to get all hyped up and start trolling over this. 'Nuff said.HAVE A DAY.
<--- Quote by Former U.S. President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt
"And there will be strange events in the skies--signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And down here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up. Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand straight and look up, for your salvation is near!" --Luke 21:25-28
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. --1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Well, no sense in arguing with someone who hopelessly repeats the same rhetoric over and over again for eternity!128MB of ram?

Amazingly, this is substantially more pathetic than every other Mac thread, ever, on Apolyton.
Congratulations you two."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

You are the one repeating the same rhetoric over and over again. You follow Apple like a cult. The IMac is a piece of junk... and I can't wait to see what kind of hardware this $499 one has... ATI Radeon 7000?128MB of ram?
No PC user would buy a piece of crap. I know the majority of PC users are probably wanting the Athlon 64. It is the most solid, best CPU on the market. Why anybody would want a more "powerful" Mac is beyond me when Mac's hardly have any software out on them compared to AMD/Intel based machines.

Can you still disprove me? PC Users are right when they opt out of spending any amount of money on a low quality IMac... and one for $499... well... PC Users still won't change their mind. You can use the same amount of money and get a way better PC Machine. For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night.
