The economy is stalled? Who could figure that one? Maybe if you distort the figures enough... you could come up with liberal bull****.

I certainly don't (with the exception of that terrible article), because in that article they compare two unlike things and make a bunch of crappy statements (that don't really have any evidence backing them).
Yeah, name something. I doubt you read it all, PPP.
It's funny you would say he has "no evidence," yet he clearly provides very specific numbers and information.
You, however, just wave your hand and dismiss it. It's like you're a Creationist or something!
*yawn* Can somebody please pass the pop-corn while I listen to the peanut gallery?
This guy boris loves posting articles that make headlong jumps, and presumptive conclusions. Vietnam and Iraq are two very different places.

So this Giancarlo guy, what's with him? It's a bit like discovering the wonder of the internet and then learning about popups.
You seem like an old DL... whose DL is this one? Maybe one of my long lost ones that was hijacked by someone here... okay.. who did it?

"There is absolutely no evidence for evolution. The evolutionary theory makes headlong jumps and presumptive conclusions. Naturally, I won't actually address the evidence, but my handwaving will suffice" -- Creationist P. Poopypants.
AH: With the exception of Muqtada Sadr's little uprising last summer (since put down) nearly all of the insurgents have been Iraqi Sunni Arabs. In the beginning the Bush Administration kept claiming it was all foreigners and everyone knew that was a lie especially those of us who were there, but, at least they've finally stopped lying (about this issue any way).
The first thing the needs to happen is Rumsfield needs to go. He needs to be fired for anyone of a dozen reasons and we need to get someone who is capable of admiting a mistake and adjusting policy to reflect reality. Mindlessly repeating the same line over and over dispite ever worsening results does not make sense. Sadly, I don't believe Bush is capable of nominating anyone better then Rumsfield as his recent post election purge of decenting voices in the administration has shown that Bush doesn't want the people around who will point out errors in his policies. It's to bad because those people were the only ones who could have prevented future train wrecks from occuring.

All I can say is you're an... well better not get ming pissed...
You are the one who is making statements like these. You speak without evidence. All of the evidence is on my side.

Yet you still fail to present any, or a factual counterargument to the article. You're just BAMing.
Don't you see how that's exactly the same as what Creationists do in a debate?
And you haven't presented anything to begin with. Just one biased ass article with the same old hysteria that runs rampant. If you want to lose so badly, fine. It just might happen. Just realize the implications of holding such beliefs. I have nothing else to say to you. Maybe you will realize the consequences later.

BTW Here's what's going to happen in Iraq. The elections will be held next month dispite a very large and conserted effort by insurgents to prevent it. Turn out will be in the 60%-70% region and Shi'a will win just about everything except for a few minor spots held by Kurds. Fox News will declare it a great victory, the insurgents will claim the results were illegitimate because not everyone voted (they won't want to talk about the reason many people didn't vote is because insurgents said they'd kill people who did), little will change on the ground and terror attacks will continue.
Insurgents realize their supporters represent about 10%-15% of the population thus they know they don't stand any chance at all in winning a democratic election. Thus they will attempt to disrupt elections as much as possible so that they can claim the election results are illegitimate. "Why help have elections you're going to lose?" is the question they will keep asking each other. You see the truth is each Iraqi faction only wants to win and isn't the slightest bit interested in democratic processes unless those processes are rigged in their favor so not much will change after the elections.

Except that's not what it is, it's a very factual article done by a military expert who is not hysterical and who is presenting an analysis of actual numbers. All the handwaving in the world you do won't change that, PPP.

Again this is just showing you don't realize people change. Experts? They are no better then a journalist who has turned into a radical left wing nut. Analysis my ass. Two different places, two different scenarios, two different enemies. PSH.

Again, I am just going to sit back and let the arm chair liberal peanut gallery squeal. *goes quiet* (besides I need to get to bed, good night)

Who are you talking about? The author? Or you? What relevance does this have? If you mean you, this thread alone is enough to prove otherwise.

And, if you had actually read the article, you'd know that he doesn't say any of that. He is analyzing the casualty rates so far, that's it. And unless you're saying his numbers and assessment of medical care are wrong (and can provide proof of such), then you're just, as usual, wasting our time.
