Calc 2 and (math major level) Statistics. Started a class called foundations. All proofs, I gave it up after 3 weeks.
Not so good proofs killed me. I got Cs from Calc 1 on. As before that, but I never put in extra effort.
Nope my math is good enough for accounting. Maybe an applied course if it's required for a masters. Doubt it.

Nah, that's what we learn in management. We managed to get chocolate bars, a rubber duck, an analogy about a ship and a rubber duck, and a double entendre involving viagra, into a formal presentation on "managing change". Was a fun tutorial

My speciality is multi-dimensional geometry which I've been reading up on over the last few months (polytopes ), other than that the usual mechanics stuff. Probably A2+ level in both, which is cruelly ironic

          What the hell is A2+?

A2 level. Higher than AS level and lower than degree level.

A2, as in I'm currently working approx at or above (hence the "+") that level. Which is cruelly ironic because I severely ****ed up my A levels, and not at uni .

i'm rather like laz (which is about the only time you'll hear me say this)

i'm thinking about going into accountancy though, so my current maths level of 'bloody rubbish' may have to be improved.

Not necessarily, from what I've heard.

Depends on which accountancy field, there are many, ranging from:

Audit and accounts - piss around with invoices and despatch notes all day. Boring as ****. Easy. Might do a bit of maths occasionally. Usually done by economics and arts students.
Tax - Can mess with your mind with all the things you can do. Its a great mental workout - the 'maths' is easy, but thats not the point, its about using the right maths to get the most advantageous result. Normally done by science students.

I'm working in forensics at the moment. Not much maths, but it gets very intricate.

                      1. What is the highest level of mathemathics you have so far studied?

Have an A* at GCSE, and a B at FSMU. Calculus at 14, and it is still easier than french...

                      2. How well have you grasped what you were taught?

Better than I grasped my English/french.

                      3. Are you going to learn more?

I am currently studing for a my Maths AS level (take one module in January), and I plan on carrying on to A2, and Ialso want to do Further Maths AS in the summer.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Algebra, equations, two and three dimensional geometry, trigonometry, analytical geometry, polinomials, functions, probability, logarithm and exponentials, limits and serials, derivation and integrals...All during high school...

In the Turkish education system, you have to go through an exam at the national level covering a variety of high school subjects including maths and the overall score you get from that exam determines whether or not you qualify for any preferences you made about which universities you'd like to go.

Although my preferences were all social sciences, I learned these topics by heart to increase my chances. I was a math machine on all the above topics back then.

Yeah, and I forgot most of it by now.

I still think some of those topics are too much for high school, like integrals. I wonder if the curricula in North America or Europe are more streamlined or heavier...
