    You forgot "Hunt for Red October", Leo.

    ... And wasn't "Politika" a collaboration (meaning that somebody wrote the book and Clancy put his name on it to help sell copies)?

      It was a tie-in with his computer game. Dunno.

        I was thinking that "Red Something" was a reference to "Red Storm Rising", the only novel he wrote that was not based in the Jack Ryan universe.

          Btw, the last Clancy I read "Red Rabbit" was just shiite, that I didn't even finish and won't even dream of reading anything he writes after that. And I'm probably one of the few people who liked "Executive Orders" and "The Bear and the Dragon"

            I loved Executive Orders. The timeline is all wonky, but it's fun stuff!

                        Environmentalists burning down Michael Chriton's house down while he says the heat is just a figment of everyone's imagination

                          environmentalists != eco-terrorists

                          Eco-terrorists = dumbasses

                          Actually there has been talk this week of Blair attempting to convince Bush to sign an international pollution treaty.

                          Whether or not global warming is real or not, limiting toxic emissions can only be a good thing.

                              Although wrecking your economy to do it based on suspect science might not be such a good thing.

                                Jurassic Park, Lost World, and Prey were cool.

                                I liked Jurassic Park when I read it back in the day, but back then I also liked Tom Clancy and Anne Rice. :vomit:
