      Hey MNG!

I've never heard of this guy in my life. Therefore, he is not a leading philosopher.

      You're welcome
meet the new boss, same as the old boss

I wish there were a God and an afterlife. I don't like the idea of oblivion. But I'm not going to lie to myself to give me comfort.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

It is good to see that there is hope even for atheists. An unbiased look at the origin of life as we understand it thus far does lead one to question the mantra of materialism spewed from people who promote their opinion and personal beliefs in the name of "science".

99% of the time the reason why atheists choose not to believe in God is because of their prejudices against religious morals and their unwillingness to change their lifestyle.

I get a strong feeling that this is the case with you.
              HAVE A DAY.
<--- Quote by Former U.S. President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt
"And there will be strange events in the skies--signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And down here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up. Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand straight and look up, for your salvation is near!" --Luke 21:25-28
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. --1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

No, Asher. I'm Southern Baptist. Far from it.

The whole point was shooting down that whole argument, because it swings both ways -- blaming the status quo.

Being original is in the realm of the bible translators, because its meaning changes every f*cking time.

We have experience of the dinosaurs.

Maybe you should use your brains instead of your feelings. #1, it's BS. The vast majority of religious morals are shared by atheists, because they are human rules. Don't lie don't steal, don't murder, etc., are universal human morals. Not eating shelfish is silly (unless its during a red tide).

I'm an atheist not because I don't share religious morals, but because there is no evidence that a deity exists. It is ridiculous to believe in a God.
