I seriously doubt it. It's very very rare to assign attorney costs to the losing side. I'm sure that in the breach they would not. According to the law and economics view in vogue these days, people should be free to break contracts if they can get a better deal, they just have to pay what is due.

What are the chances a judge would allow attorney costs? 0%, perhaps 0.1%.

I'm sure the chances would increase substantially if Texas got the venue to be in state.

It'd be a suit in diversity jurisdiction. The Pac-10 would remove to Federal Court, which would be much less likely to kowtow to local anger. Even Texas state court judges wouldn't be so dumb as to assign attorney's costs to the losing party. It's just not a part of our system. It hardly ever comes into play and it wouldn't in any of this.

Just forget about it, it wouldn't happen.

I think that Auburn brings to much to the table for the Vols to overcome, but I think the game will be closer than most.

Are you really thinking objectively about this?

Yeah Urban Meyer appears to be jumping ship, I can't blame him really, although I wish he'd stay for another year or two.

Now what will Utah do for a coach?

p.s. He said he would coach the Utes in their bowl game, but I think Utah loses to whoever they play now.

                ACK!

Auburn is really laying a beat down on Tennessee. This is starting to look ugly.

the auburn-TN game just looks bad. will it change the BCS if Auburn goes and wins something like 70-0 instead of just plain old winning?

did I mention I'm for the Tigers? that's probably the closest thing to a kiss of death that Auburn can get.

                          spurning Notre Dame's offer
To quibble, I don't think Notre Dame even got the chance to make the offer. A deal with Florida had already been done.

Whew... USC escapes over UCLA and are heading to the Orange Bowl (really no chance of them dropping to 3rd).

                              WOOOO!

What a game... Tennessee just tied it mid-3rd Quarter against Auburn. 21-21 and UT has ALL the momentum. This ain't like the earlier game!
