I'm most definitely not an anarchist. I do support government, just a more limited version of it. I'm probably more "big government" than the average libertarian party member, (of course that still makes me a radical by conventional standards). I also support private property, so that puts me at odds with the "libertarian socialists".
I'm all over the map honestly. I dunno what I am. An independent.

You'll note the first definition under pride describes the most commonly used/inferred meaning and is very much in line with the more nobler aspect of man I referred to.
Hubris refers more towards excessive pride akin to conceit and arrogance.
