Re-watched "Goldfinger" last night on video - one of the better Bond flicks.

Just saw "Without a Paddle". Silly, and a bit too preachy at the end.

John Q - over sentimental American crap that had everyone else in floods of tears declaring it was the best film they'd ever seen.

A documentary about al-Jazeera and the opening of the Iraq war. Great film.

Yesterday they had "The Bone Collector" with Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie on tv - taped it and saw it later at night.

Hadn't heard that, had you? Yes, it's true. Instead of older Anakin's spirit at the end, we now have Christiansen looking on with Obi-wan and Yoda.

As an aside, for the first time I noticed that in that scene, Obi-wan places his hand on Yoda's shoulder. Aren't they supposed to be noncorporeal? Sloppy!

Of course, the movie has enough plot holes to drive a truck through anyway.

                          In the theatre? The Incredibles.

On TV? Caught various snippets of the second Tomb Raider, MIB II, Pirates of the Caribbean and Galaxy Quest this weekend. Didn't watch any of them all the way through, though.

My wife handed me Jersey Girl to take back to the video store this morning.

"But we never watched it," I said.
"Yes we did, we watched it Friday night."
                            "Er... oh, right."

Either the movie is completely forgettable or I was drunk. Or both.

The Incredibles and it was, well, incredible.

Don't be fooled by the animation and Disney connection. This is a great flick for all ages.
