The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power.

Support for evolution is more heavily concentrated among those with more education and among those who attend religious services rarely or not at all.
MNG, ready to admit that you're in league with uneducated morons yet?
Thats why we're in the mess we are - still i do believe it doesn't have to be this way.
But somehow i dont think forsakeing science(or spelling for that matter ) in favour of myths - however compelling - is the answer, and i actualy believe in spiritualism and am happy to except what science has to offer if guided by wisdom.
a souless world
religous fundementalism, any flavour
balance
or to put it another way,
God/Buddha(insert religious figure head etc) is something you 'feel' but cannot 'prove' exists.
Science is something you can 'prove' but never 'feel' - it is souless by its nature.
but neither system taken in its purest form is a good way to lead collective human lives. We actualy do need both science and religion to succed in our task.
so stop fighting kids, fundis spread a little of the good of jesus/budha/mohamid around.
Realists/non-believers/heretics( ) - stop calling people with spiritual and very real and mostly good beliefs stupid, and show them the good that science can be used for.
is the key

'The very basis of the liberal idea – the belief of individual freedom is what causes the chaos' - William Kristol, son of the founder of neo-conservitivism, talking about neo-con ideology and its agenda for you.info here. prove me wrong.
Bush's Republican=Neo-con for all intent and purpose. be afraid.

Your dogmatism is indicative of the kind of attitude that prevents the debate getting anywhere. If someone were to dogmatically and rigidly claim that 1+1=3, then any appeals to the obvious or rigorous proofs that 1+1=2 would fail to convince. Of course, a debate is not a popularity contest, and the more consistent position is not measured by how many idiots it succeeds in convincing.
Wanna bet that you are just as "dogmatic" as I?
HAVE A DAY.
<--- Quote by Former U.S. President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt
"And there will be strange events in the skies--signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And down here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up. Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand straight and look up, for your salvation is near!" --Luke 21:25-28
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. --1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
It'd be a pretty one-sided contest though. Whaleboy and the many who know far better about evolution would post mountains of valid evidence in favour of evolution, which you wouldn't accept, then you (If you are like 99% of other creationists on the internet) would post some semi-random garbling about abiogenesis and very bad science, which only those desperate to believe in a young Earth would accept.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

You shouldn't give Creationists ammo to whine about being personally attacked. Plus they aren't mutually exclusive entirely- I have a biochemist friend doing a PhD who believes in Creationism. Just imagine that- someone of PH's calibre belieiving in Creationism
Chemistry and physics don't preclude a belief in ID.
