This is for Sava, since you liked the other Bateman cartoon.

What if someone whose job is to draw political cartoons thinks the person being made SoS is an ignorant puppet? Should they be quiet if they're an African-American?

The Daziger one seems innappropriate to me. It just looks mean and without any real satirical value.

If there's a senior citizen somewhere who can't pay for her prescription and has to choose between medicine and the rent, that makes my life poorer, even if it's not my grandmother. If there's an Arab American family being rounded up without benefit of an attorney or due process, that threatens my civil liberties. I don't know what you mean. Danziger does not work for Rush.

Then the clarification would come from you saying that and saying why it's located on Rush's website, for those of us not registered with his site... [I see from the URL it's in the extra part which would tell me it's not from Rush's site, but I would presume his extras are also Republican items?]

The first two are not, the third is kind of sketchy, and only works if you know the full context.

As LotM mentions, its taken from a Black servent who brags about knowing everything about helping to give birth to babies. What he does't remember, however, is when the time comes she says, "I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies."

Combine that with the aluminum tubes story, and the fact that she claimed previously that the only thing those tubes were good for is building centrifuges, at a time when our energy deperatment said there was no way those specific tubes could be used for centrifuges, and the cartoon makes more sense.

Condi is being promoted for being a team player. She is not competent for the job, if her tenure at the NSA is anything to go by.

BTW, Powell had stated he wanted to stay on until Spring, in order to see the Iraqi elections through. He was told no. He was fired in that Washington way of being fired, by being forced to resign. Not that it matters. No one listened to him at the White House anyway.
