What was the point of quoting your statement IMMEDIATELY after the original post, LOTM??
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

Political cartoons aren't necessarily supposed to be funny, except Doonesbury. They are supposed to illuminate the truth in a satirical manner. Satire is usually a bit vicious. That's the way we like it.

Correct me if I'm wrong.... Condi IS NOT yet a mother..

Perhaps the point being she knows little of either?

I'm with VJ - the biggest offense was being not funny.

This thread is so absurd. Political cartoons are about satire, and satire uses culturalreferences- like LoTM said, the Danzinger cartoon references Gone in the Wind (personally I also thought of the Color Purple for some reason).

Oh, lordy lord! How can anyone who listens to Limbaugh ever say anything about offensive media? Hyprocasy par excellance.

See, liberals are happy about a black woman rising to one of the highest ranks in the land.

those cartoons are only offensive to a conservative.

Stop reading those conservative websites. They are brainwashing you.

Think for yourself man. I don't read any conservative or liberal websites (unless you count Apolyton as liberal )
