There are many within the PA who think that she does everything just to get her hands on so much of Arafats accounts as possible
and who knows, maybe they are right and maybe she would even if Arafat is just a corpse without brain activity let the doctors keep him alive,

Arafat always held all the money used to pay the PLO, and later, the Palestinian Authority.
All of it.
He only paid it out a month at a time, and only he knew the accounts and passwords. That's how he stayed alive through all the disappointments -- his followers knew where their money came from, and what would happen if anything happened to Arafat.
The PA was paid at the end of October, as usual.
