  • Regarding the original poster's question;

    I Croatia, the reaction, from what I have read, is mostly negative. Fahrenheit 911 and other antiamerican stuff sell pretty well here, so it's no surprise.

      • Berz seems to be handling things pretty well so let me just add this one small point.

        Most of the EU crowd whine about american intervention without UN (i.e. european) approval. Just remember that if America had decided to remain neutral toward the Nazi's (and there was a huge movement for that to happen), all you ****ing anti-america eurocoms would be speaking german.

          The correct example to bring up at this point is Kosovo which proved the UN isn't needed for interventions against rogue regimes.

            Actually, the US did remain neutral towards the nazis until the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and the German U-boats were attacking ships virtually inside American harbors...

              Well, Americans tend to think Norwegian sounds like German anyway, so what the heck...

There was fear among the populace a new Democrat administration would resume the course of the Clinton administration and this fear was emphasised by the rumours the key architect of the Dayton Accord (Richard Holbrooke) might become the next Secretary of State.
                  Interesting. I heard that Russia and Israel supported Bush too, but that's pretty much it. So if Serbia is so pro-Bush, will y'all be sending troops to help out in Iraq?

                        • Sprayber, it is YOUR fault that the genocide is going on in Rwnada. It is your PERSONAL fault that oveer 500 000 Iraqis are dead, YOUR tax dollars PAID for it. It is your fault that Japan is in mental **** up state. It is your fault, that Elvis died. It is your fault, that everything that is in this world and is wrong, well it is your fault.

                          how does that statement sound? Silly? Of course it is silly. What? You got out of US BAshing from that?
                          too bad.

                          Answers to questions you disagree with should never be raised again, OK fine. Hears another tear for you because I'll keep doing it. And you'd be surprised how much I defend your ass in here in real life. SO no, I'm not a euro doing the same thing back to you. So stop calling yourselves the pragmatic ones, beucase you're not.
                          I should be personally mad that your country hasn't done anything for my country, and anything for me, because I have done much for you. Pretty silly eh?

                            Dont forget the contributions of the Huns.

                            In any case, given the huge number of latin-root words in English, French, Spanish, and of course, Italien. One might make the argument that Europe does speak Latin (more than anything else).
