If he tries to drag this on for a month like Gore, it's another story.
How many ballots would there have to be for him to stand more than a snowball's chance in hell of overcoming a 100,000 vote deficit?

      • Wisconsin is really close. If Bush picks up Wisconsin, Iowa, and New Mexico, Ohio won't matter.

          Not so much.

          There are:

          A) at least 175,000 provisional ballots
          B) probably 300,000
          C) as many as 600,000.

If 2/3 of them are democratic votes Kerry has A) lost, B) faint hope or C) a pretty good chance.

          We shall see.

Of course he doesn't have a snowball's chance of hell. But it's not as if he's dragging it out for months. We don't even know the EC tally yet. Several states are still in the air.

The guys on CNN said the prov ballots in Ohio won't be counted for 11 days, unless I misunderstood something.

That sounds like dragging it out to me.

Yes, that's right. Should they just be thrown out, then?

                    Should be counted sooner perhaps?

                    • Bush looks to be ahead by four million in the total popular vote.

Hm, you would wait it out to if you were Kerry.
