I'm not sure if early voting is included in that, nor of what the turnout % is, but it's a razor-thin margin. 1% is by no means safe...if early voting isn't yet included then sooner or later the results will be revised to "blowout" status for Kerry. Early voting was big.

Well, PRESUMING that Kerry doesn't manage to lose Michigan, Iowa or Minnesota, he still might have a chance if he gets Ohio (or if he gets a several state-wide victory in the west).

I'm curious about Missouri. It was declared as a clear Bush state very early on (even before elections), but it's only B52% - K48% when 50% of the votes have been counted.
