Actually, it was a play on "there are no atheists in foxholes".

          • Is it true that the early voters in FL haven't been added to the total? I hadn't heard that.

Why haven't they been added in?

We know. The joke is that today is like being a foxhole. But the saying is still wrong.

              • And as Detroit and Ann Arbor being reporting, Michigan swings big over to Kerry, 55-45.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

                    • Bush won Ouachita County by 152 votes.

I'm not sure if early voting is included in that, nor of what the turnout % is, but it's a razor-thin margin. 1% is by no means safe...if early voting isn't yet included then sooner or later the results will be revised to "blowout" status for Kerry. Early voting was big.

Yup. Its a damn good thing most of us dont vote. We really are retarded. "Generation X" is just a mindless, lazy, logo wearing block of voters. Half of us making a living off bloodbanks.... And you want us to vote?

Only people with a stake in society should be allowed to vote. That excludes most of them under 21. Sadly everyone is allowed to vote but fortunately were too lazy

                        • Tom Delay succeeded in redistricting the house. It's sick. All the Democratic incumbents are losing. Texas is the ****hole of this country.

                              • Well, PRESUMING that Kerry doesn't manage to lose Michigan, Iowa or Minnesota, he still might have a chance if he gets Ohio (or if he gets a several state-wide victory in the west).

I'm curious about Missouri. It was declared as a clear Bush state very early on (even before elections), but it's only B52% - K48% when 50% of the votes have been counted.
