Azreal is the surname of my roleplaying alter ego (a Neutral Good ranger). The Lord part is probably a way of making it relevant to Civ, seeing as how ruling an empire is the biggest part of Civ.

Though I've been considering getting my name changed to match the name I use on battle.net and on other forums, Jethro83. Jethro being the nickname I had in school (a play on my actual first name), and the first name of above mentioned roleplaying alter ego. The 83 being my year of birth (and also there for the fact that I'm not the only one using the name Jethro most of the time).

Any reason it's so funny? I am truthfully ignorant of any possible reason it could be so funny.

Used to be skywalker. That should have obvious origins.

Then it was Kucinich, also of obvious origin, for somewhat odd reasons. People hated it, so I chose a unique name this time, Kuci-walker.

OK, did a Google and Wikipedia search of "Jethro" and found out why the name implies 'farmer boy'. It came up with a page about the 18th century British agriculturalist, Jethro Tull, who invented the seed drill. And honestly, there's nothing wrong with that.

And there is of course the band by the same name (though, I admit, I haven't heard anything by them).

It's not really that funny to me. But then again, I never knew about Jethro Tull, and I'm certain that my classmates back in school didn't know about the band Jethro Tull, let alone the agriculturalist Jethro Tull. Jethro just happened to sound somewhat similar to my first name (Jeff).

Ah well... whatever. Laugh it up if you want. I don't care. I gave up caring a long time ago.

Shaygetz is a derisive term for non-Jews from Hebrew/Yiddish (In Hebrew it means thug / ******* / punk; in Hebrew it means 'disgusting thing,' like an insect or snake, etc). A couple of Jewish comrades were having an insult fest (with me being the target), and among many other things they called me, one was shaygetz.

Che is pronounced shay, and I immediately said, "Shaygetz, huh? Yeah, Shaygetz Guevara." They groaned at the pun I'd made, and when I picked a nickname to use on the internet, I changed the spelling to make it consistent with the verbal pun.
