Kerry is a good debater? I think not- the debate thread

he just keeps reapeating the same thing over and over, or changing the subject. Luckily Bush is not a good debater either.
I love the way bush said this is another exaggeration
I can't believe I'm agreeing with Bush here. Although I still disagree with his methods of improving education.

Hey,
Fox News has Bush winning."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

It was pretty much a direct quote.
That's the thing I got most annoyed at at Bush. He made education that answer to just about everything. How is education really a Federal issue? And if it is how the hell can Bush claim credit as an especially-good education President??
Ya, that was the best line of the night.
I'm really not sure if bush's no child is left behind act is working. The left is saying it is not. But it's hard to get an objective response to this. You can't go by what the teachers are saying because they are biased towards the democrats.

Did anyone notice the thumb gesture from Kerry? It's just like what Clinton would do when he was making a point.
Actually, Bush answered the faith question very well...
Ooooooh CNN is doing a fact check on Bush's exaggeration on Bin Ladin statement. Looks like that's gunna hurt Bush.
"Stand up straight and don't scowl"
In theory education can solve many, many social problems in a country.
1. Education is almost entirely a state and local issue, its disengenuos for a Presdient to make that his answer to everything.
2. If education is such a high priority of his, what the hell has he done besides No Child Left Behind?? Kerry said he cut training programs and Bush didn't respond to that. I'll wait for www.factcheck.org's call on that I guess.Stop Quoting Ben

Yeah that got really annoying.
He really nailed that and nailed that hard.

Right but:

Bush said he didn't know where he was. And said he wasn't very concerned about it.
