        • he just keeps reapeating the same thing over and over, or changing the subject. Luckily Bush is not a good debater either.
Like I said, I'm sure the handlers told Kerry to be a bit more of a wind-up toy and Bush to be a bit less of one. I was surprised that Kerry didn't repeat stuff much in the first debate and not surprised at all that he's doing it more now.

I love the way bush said this is another exaggeration
It was pretty much a direct quote.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with Bush here. Although I still disagree with his methods of improving education.
That's the thing I got most annoyed at at Bush. He made education that answer to just about everything. How is education really a Federal issue? And if it is how the hell can Bush claim credit as an especially-good education President??

In theory education can solve many, many social problems in a country. Though it will take time. When a society values education, they become a power house of a nation. Look at Japan in the 18th compared to Japan in the 19th century.

I'm really not sure if bush's no child is left behind act is working. The left is saying it is not. But it's hard to get an objective response to this. You can't go by what the teachers are saying because they are biased towards the democrats.

Perhaps, but they tend to be in the best positions to judge

Giuliani isn't running... You miss the point, "idear" only re-inforces the perception of Kerry as a liberal. Why? Because he comes from the most liberal part of the country, the part where you'll hear "idear". Btw, Giuliani is only popular because of 9/11, before that he was just another liberal Republican from the NE who was cheating on his wife.

Bush really dodged the questions there. He wants people to send a chunk of their money into savings accounts but he didn't say how you're going to pay for the benefits of current retirees if you're diverting the money that used to go to them into those acounts.

Did anyone notice the thumb gesture from Kerry? It's just like what Clinton would do when he was making a point.
                              Yeah that got really annoying.

Actually, Bush answered the faith question very well...
He really nailed that and nailed that hard.

Ooooooh CNN is doing a fact check on Bush's exaggeration on Bin Ladin statement. Looks like that's gunna hurt Bush.

                              Right but:
                              1. Education is almost entirely a state and local issue, its disengenuos for a Presdient to make that his answer to everything.
                              2. If education is such a high priority of his, what the hell has he done besides No Child Left Behind?? Kerry said he cut training programs and Bush didn't respond to that. I'll wait for www.factcheck.org's call on that I guess.

NBC just aired the clip of the Bin Ladin thing

Bush said he didn't know where he was. And said he wasn't very concerned about it.
