The point is both will destroy society, according to republicans.

The problem with that is both are always ridiculous claims, and cannot be supported.

You're a typical, thoughtless republican drone with a personal interest in your homosexual rights. If you weren't gay, I guarantee you you would be totally against homosexual rights for the same reason you're against marijuana legalization. You're just not that bright of a guy to be able to think of your own opinions.

Yak yak yak yak yak yak... so what makes weed users so special? What makes them like gay people? Nothing. They have nothing to do with homosexuality. So please don't mix things up... I'm not going to insult you but I'm not that bright of a guy? I don't smoke weed, so I'm much smarter then you. Far smarter.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

      • Ummm, you do realise that a third of modern philosophers have used weed at various points, as well as numerous artists and writers?

Explains a 1/3 of the art of the 20th century is crap.

I'm versatile.. but speaking of that.. it isn't any of your business.

I was just making a connection to your desire to be obedient and extrapolated it from there.

So you want me to go break into stores because you like being disobedient? I'm just saying follow the law.

I'm just saying being an independent thinker.

Don't blindly do as you're told, consider them suggestions and think for yourself. Unless, of course, you're in a company.

Many of the laws are simply stupid.

The law says you can't have sex with men in most states, would you obey that law if you were in one of those states?

So smoking marijuana is being an independent thinker? And you are listening to this one site? I'm thinking for myself. Please don't say I don't. Again marijuana smoking has nothing to do with homosexuality. Can you just stop that?

The process of being an independent thinker is thinking about all laws, instead of blindly obeying them. The state has no business to mess around with what I do on my own time that affects no one else. The law does more harm than good.

And I'm not listening to that one site -- if you remember, it's really 92 sources.

The simple fact is, the vast majority of arguments against marijuana use are bull****. You don't want to be an independent thinker, so you're incapable of doing some research. Hell, you won't even read what I quoted, because you want to deride the sources (which are absolutely valid).

Again marijuana smoking has nothing to do with homosexuality. Can you just stop that?
You said you don't do it because it's against the law. It's a valid point, since both are victimless crimes and the state has no business being part of.

Here we go again. The vast majority of arguments against marijuana dispute distortions you put up. You are incapable of doing research yourself. If you cost the tax payers a dime, it is the tax payers concern.

Homosexuality again has nothing to do with pot smoking. Stop with the comparsions.
