Regardless most of the talking heads refer to it as a draw to marginal victory for Kerry, not something to trumpet as a foregone conclusion. That is confirmed one way or the other in a few days upon repolling.

By the by, Paul Begala A+ on content, . Obviously Kerry's new love interest.
Begala is a Kerry whore. He works for the Kerry campaign. Full disclosure here please.

But seriously, I give Kerry a B- on substance and a B+ on style. Bush gets a B- on substance and a D+ on style.

Jim Lehrer gets a D as moderator.
        I disagree on Lehrer. B+

Kerry did very well to point out the failings of the President. I feel more secure in my vote that Kerry believes that the reasons presented to him for going to war in Iraq were false. Unlike most dem politicians who are afraid to say that.
The fear I have is that after all the facts come out, people will still vote on the basis of likability vs intelligence. The President even pointed out that Kerry went to Yale. I'm sure that that earned him votes with people who do not know that the President went there also.
PAX, on the compliments to Kerry -- yes that was Bush's high point. It had to go over very well with Democrats and Independents alike.

            Bush also graduated from Harvard.

BTW, where did Kerry go to law school?

It looks like Bush is 1 for 4. That's an F. Still, take into consideration the situation in Iraq, before we invaded and the situation now. I would say that both the common american and iraqi were safer before. Even if you believe the common iraqi is safer today when he does not know if he will be kidnapped, beheaded, maimed, raped, killed, or which side to watch out for you still must agree that americans are not safer now that we have more enemies and our previous enemies hate us even more.
Obviously you do support Clinton's brand of talking tough and doing nothing.

Our only point here, PAX, is that Kerry would have done the same thing as Clinton did. There is nothing that suggest otherwise, is there?

If you say so. I found it as appealing as the smile on a pickpocket's face as he apologizes for bumping into you.

It serves approximately the same function, too.

                            • Nothing, it's not you it's me... I just need some time to recover. Perhapse if Bush Fez's Kerry in the next election I'll feel much better.

I still don't think Kerry won, his poll numbers are still the same (maybe a little better) and that's all that matters. We need more trash on Kerry! Pronto!

                              Kerry owns slaves!

                              I;ve lost it.
