It'll be out december 7th or december 14th and it'll contain much more and much better and much more important extra scenes then both first EE boxsets did combined!

Not as if the first 2 boxsets were not good, they were brilliant, but the Return of the King EE........... give it to me baby!

- end of Saruman
- Confrontation between Gandalf and the witchking
- the mouth of souran appears at the black gate
- sam and frodo have to march with the orcs in mordor
- the houses of healing in which aragorn heals Faramir and Eowyn
- The crossroads scene with Frodo and Sam
- Aragorn battles sauron through the palantir
- Sam sees a star in mordor and regains hope
- Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas battle the black ships
- extended paths of the death scene
- Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli resque Eowyn from gotmog and kill him

- maybe (not sure yet) an extended epilogue that deals with the age of men in the 4th age. This should become before Sam's "I'm back" line.

I can understand the originals not being exactly as he wanted due to technical and budgetary constraints, but how does that explain Han shooting first the first time around?

Wooot! I got it today, watched a bit. LOVE having the original trilogy on the DVD transfer, rather than watching it all grainy on basic cable .

And Verto, it's his movie, the changes are peripheral and small, and if you don't like it, don't buy it. No one is forcing you to pay for it. Lucas is releasing it the way he wants to. Your choice.

Apparently George said he wanted Greedo to shoot first, but during the editing process, he couldn't get a good angle to have Greedo shoot first (and miss Han). With the SE's, he could make Han move away from the blast without reshooting.

Of course I am forced to buy it - it's the price I pay for watching Star Wars in the first place. It's just that, it was bad enough seeing that Christiansen guy in the prequels; now I have to endure him in RoTJ.

I will pick the DVD set up sometime soon.
