      You're just being closed minded

I've known some 5 foot tall, 100 and nothing pound girls that could kick anybody's ass. You would never know it by their demeanor either.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

That's why Yoda fighting was top notch.

The Yoda fight scene was horrible. I expected him to be far more graceful and fluid, instead of a jumping bean on crack.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

See? The fact that the Yoda fight sucked is an issue that brings both Left and Right together.

In a movie about the downfall of a galactic civilization there is.

If you don't like the special editions don't buy them.

                      My DVDs arrived this morning.

I think the people that didn't like it just don't like Yoda, or they have an idea of what he is and isn't supposed to be.

That's why I liked it so much because he showed a side of himself that people hadn't stereotyped him to be.
Yoda was supposed to be the greatest swordsman in the Jedi ranks. I thought that scene was great, you finally got to see how hard Yoda really was.

I think most people misunderstand the special editions. They are not the original Star Wars. They are the propaganda version released by the New Republic. Hence, Han shoots second to solidify him as a noble hero in history. Even the prequel movies are New Republic propaganda. Since the New Republic wishes to bring things back to the status quo before the Empire, they placed the blame of the previous Republic's fall on the scapegoat Jar Jar Binks. It was Jar Jar who let Palpatine slip into power. The truth was that the members of the galactic counsel were either bought by Palpatine or too distracted by their own political infighting to care.

Interesting. Care to speculate on how the Holiday Special and perhaps the ancient era comic books tie into this?

Everything produced after the original triology is propaganda, in my opinion. The original triology was created before the founding of the New Republic.
