NYC is as liberal a city as it comes-Bush's chances here are less than those of a snowball in hell.

And Peter Jennings is actually far more of a leftie-yet ABC seems to be doing great.

I doubt CBS was number one in any market-they have been in the pits in NY for years. If I have time to watch the network news, I never turn to CBS- its either ABC or NBC. In reality though its PBS.

I am of two minds on this issue as well. I think I would like the Governator more than any other Republican. He is pro-choice. I think McCain is pro-life. Arnie is anti-tax. McCain sees nothing wrong with taxes because he is a balanced budget type in the mold of Ike.

On foreign policy, though, I think McCain would be the best. This issue and taxes are what drives my vote.

However, Marian Carr Knox told CBS television - which first broke the story - that the content was truthful.

The documents are irrelevant now that there is a witness who is prepared to testify to the accuracy of their claims.

Everyone should. It's like police planting evidence on someone they "know" committed a crime. I do not trust an 85-year old woman's memory to remember who her boss liked or did not like thirty years ago. Hell, I can barely remember the names of people I worked with twenty years ago.
