  • Ted's review:

    1) The Bush twins sound like complete airheads.

Not that Kerry's daughters were any better. But this whole, "use your children at the convention to appeal to younger voters thing," has totally flopped, and only worked marginally well with Gore's daughter.

    2) All of the speakers are totally flat. Even Arnold. Although I liked his "I'll be back" story about the wounded soldier in Iraq.

    3) I think Mrs. Bush is oblivious to the outside world even moreso than her husband is.

        • Are you insinuating that she is not intellectually qualified, and got in because of family influence?

              • I'd hit it with all four of them, more likely than not. Vanessa and Barbara both look too much like their respective fathers, though.

                • Once again we're told 9/11 happened because we are "free".

I'd like to see this country divided up with a range of ideologies given sections. That way when the globalists piss someone off the rest of us don't get attacked.

                  • Our adversaries are weaker than us in arms and men, but weaker still in causes. They fight to express a hatred for all that is good in humanity.

We fight for love of freedom and justice, a love that is invincible. Keep that faith. Keep your courage. Stick together. Stay strong.

Do not yield. Do not flinch. Stand up. Stand up with our President and fight.

                    We're Americans.

We're Americans, and we'll never surrender.

                    They will.

                    • I saw it on the local news. Not much of my own to add, but I liked our state response.

State Democratic Party Chairman Ron Oliver said the president has not made the grade when it comes to jobs, education, security or health care. "Since Bush took office, 86,000 people in this state have lost their health insurance. We now have well over 400,000 people that have no health insurance in Arkansas."

Oliver says Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (website/newsbio) will help Arkansas families. He says by implementing Kerry's health care plan, 290,000 more people in Arkansas will be provided health insurance coverage.

And useful for ending them too.

Yeah, so you start and end wars. I guess it doesn't matter unless you fight in them though, huh?
