being in a northern state, i can only vote for local, state, and national elections, so i would vote the party every time (ie- i don't have to worry about a racist candidate or something, as I am not living in Mississippi or something like that). so i would automatically vote for her.
i doubt too many people though have even thought about this before. Rice just is never on anyone's minds when they think about potential presidential candidates.
i think it can be expected that the first black or hispanic presidents will be Republicans, though... the mere fact that they are of their respective ethnicity will get them a number of black or hispanic votes, enough drawn away from a white democratic candidate to ensure a minority republican.
