Actually, Putin declared a full investigation within minutes of hearing of the crashes.

Been reading more about it...one of the disadvantages of having been down sick all day...out of the loop news wise.
Tragic loss. Thankfully the loss of life seems to have been relatively minimal for passenger craft, but like Che and others, I think it far too much of a coincidence NOT to have been planned.
Anxiously awaiting further news, and all joking aside, props to Putin for the rapid response.
If only our leadership would emulate that.
