Ned, you do realize that when people become refugees, they don't produce food any more. When two million people in a country stop producing food, people starve . . . to death.
In addition, hundreds, maybe thousands, of villages were bombed. Contrary to Sianouk's assertion, Eastern Camobida di have villages. Contrary to other assertions, the same areas were not bombed over and over again. As the Vietnamese and KR fled west, the bombing followed them. In addition, because the bombing campaign had no effect on the war in Vietnam, the US command though that hand't hit the VC command structure, which was assumed to be equivalent of the U.S. command structure. If bombing one area didn't get it, then they had to bomb another area.
Assuming what you say is true, what should the US and ARVN forces supposed to do about the NVA bases in Cambodia? Ignore them as did Johnson and multiply our casualties 2-3 fold?

Kerry has nothing to apologize for. The war was wrong, criminal, and evil. All righteous human beings opposed the war.
That you believe this is incredible to me. That a solid chunk of the voting public (somewhere near 50% of them) believes this scares the **** out of me.

Yeah, Arrian. When challenged at the Demo convention to tell us just how Bush lied, Michael Moore said there were no WMD in Iraq. QED
Arrian, your side, the Michael Moore side, is so full of it as to be beyond humerous.

Only in the Nedaverse am I remotely associated with Michael Moore. I find people like him, on both sides of the political spectrum, disgusting and irritating. But GWB being our President irritates me even more (because the President is a lot more important than a pompous film maker or an ******* talk radio host).
There is no point in continuing this discussion. You support Bush. I want him gone. End of story.

One... I'm a "liberal Republican" which I guess really makes me a conservative libertarian or an independent
Two... I'm raising my kids to think for themselves... If they agree with me, great... if not... I defend their right to disagree and will NOT try to convince them differently.

But...
One... Is it not your belief that people should think for themselves? Therefore, aren't you doing what I said that parents should do?
Two... You never argue/debate/discuss with your kids?
