The Kerry campaign's ad response to the SBVT. It looks like it could be very effective.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

They're throwing too much **** at him hoping some would stick, it'd be a waste of time to address the accusations individually. Best to leave that to his surrogates."Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way. "

I'm not sure what you mean, Lincoln."Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way. "

It's all he could do. He put the best face on it. However, perhaps he should have answered the charges by the swift boat vets directly. He should take the opportunity to do so. Kerry's accusatory tone needs to be offset with a soothing Kerry tone.

Yes. Specifically, McCain was reproaching Bush for smearing his war record (in the Primaries)."Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way. "

Yes, that's the one he's referring to, in case you don't have broadband.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. I guess that is a good ad (as far as politics are "good"). I will wait and see how this all turns out. I am anxious to know the truth of all this. I won't vote for Kerry regardless because I am opposed to him for other reasons. If his military record is as he says he deserves to be cleared.

Yes, Bush's backers would like to see Kerry focus more and more on this horse****, but that's about the extent of it.
Voorhees and Douglas focused on Nixon's faked photos of them with commies. It sure didn't help them. When all else fails, blame brown people. | Hire a teen, while they still know it all. | Trump-Palin 2016. "You're fired." "I quit."

"All boats commenced suppression fire in case enemy small arms fire ensued."
"Thurlow stands by an affidavit he signed on July 22, 2004 in which he says of the 1969 incident, 'I never heard a shot.'"
Thurlow and his buddies can't even put together two separate articles without ridiculously contradicting themselves.
Those two statements aren't contradictory.KH FOR OWNER!

He is already focused on it, Mike. "We all" are the people who really would like the truth. I resisted this slam on Kerry at first even though I strongly object to his back stabbing of his buddies after he left the war. Like I said, He deserves to be cleared of these charges if he is innocent. As far as partisans dropping it, of course they won't but wouldn't you like to know?

So apparently we're supposed to believe that Kerry filed an AAR descrbing a combat incident, no other boat commander filed any such AAR, and their CO not only never requested AARs from other boats engaged (which would presumably be standard procedure), but we're also supposed to believe that neither their CO nor anybody on staff ever said a word to them about this AAR, the engagement in general, or anything else - that somehow, magically, Kerry filed a bogus AAR with his CO and nobody at all ever discussed that AAR or the underlying incident?
Sorry, but my Bull****-o-meter is pegged on this one.We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI
