Or...have you flipped your position on those again, and are now *against* property? (cos last time we crossed swords, you were for property rights...which is wonky for a Red, but... )
I have no interest in your toothbrush. You may keep it as your personal property.

As to letting you guys handle it...ummm....no.
And the REASON for that answer is that you will be expecting me to live under the glorious new system.
So....I think I have a right to ask some questions about how it's all going to work.
But your not asking quesions. You're giving answers, and claiming that they are the answers that we gave.

Of course, given that you guys can't even flippin decide on WHAT to implement if (another) chance suddently presented itself, so I'd say the world is quite safe from the Red Tide....

Maybe you think all you advocates of capitalism always agree.

ahhhh....so personal property is okay...so long as it's of some predefined dollar value or less. Am I understanding you?
Who sets that value?
How?
And yes...I'm asking questions...starting with what exactlyl you're planning to implement, and how you'll go about it.
To date, I've gotten nothing but static tho....and that's about what I expect in the future, but I DO keep trying.
As to capitalists. Nope....we don't agree all the time, but then, we're not trying to do a globalized implementation of a single system, either.
Important difference, you see....

Nah, I'm just taking a mental break after my extra hours of effort in the last couple of weeks to sponge off of Federal pork spending.
I only wish Kid could be given a country or two to test out these ideas . .. . WAIT--- Wasn't there a whole bunch of countries that tried varieties on this theme and failed miserably?? Oh must have been the capitalists fault.
It's always the counterrevolutionaries.

It's got nothing to do with dollar amount. A toothbrush is not a tool used for exploitation. I acknowledge that we have no valid claim to it.

Central organization and local autonomy. Get it.

See here?
This one phrase sums it all up, rather nicely.
"You may keep...."
As if I need your permission for that.
But that's what you guys want, ultimately, right?
To be in a position of power.
To be in a position to DECIDE.
Who gets what.
Who keeps what.
Anything that falls outside the arbitrary limits you set (or hell, you know, if somebody just plain pisses you off, even), poof. Coopted by the state....or, for those of you not advocating a statist system, then poof...off to the central warehouse run by spacebots on the darkside of the moon.
Or something.
The problem I have with that is that I'm fully capable of making decisions for myself, and I don't want or need you looking over my shoulder.

so dollar amount has got nothing to do with it, it's the potential to use a thing for exploitive purposes that makes all the difference.
I see.
Tell me...when I invent a new tool that saves me time, effort and money, are you and the party bosses not exploiting me by forcing me to part with it.
YOU didn't think it up, did you? So if I don't wanna part with it, why should I?

Oh yes! I get it...the problem is that you reds can't even decide if you WANT a central organization or not! LOL
Seems to me you got a bit of arguing amongst yourself to even get past THAT hurdle before you try pushing your views on the rest of us...

You do need permission for it, even in a capitalist system.

Yes, well, we have been out of power long enough.

Words like debt and subsidies don't make any sense in a true communist society. There is simply a transfer of resources.
It's not the words. It's the concept. Call them bubbles and rainbows if you want, it's the same thing. Masking true costs and ineffiencies leads to a systemic collapse. Go to the USSR and look what happened there.
If ten bubbles go in, and eight bubbles go out and there's a loss of two, you have to put enough rainbows in to make the number of bubbles coming out equal to (or preferably greater, one would hope there is some value added) than the number of bubbles that went in. Otherwise, you have a continuing loss of bubbles.
Is that better? We got rid of the words "debt" and "subsidy" and used "rainbows" instead. We even got rid of "resources" and used a prettier word.

No one is forcing you to part with it. We just allow others to use other tools like it.

Kid...no, I don't need permission. I buy the toothbrush, I bring it home. End of story. Here in Columbia, at least, we don't have toothbrush cops. If you do where you live, I'd consider a new neighborhood.
Seriously.
