Hehe... exactly. I got 4 WR myself and don't need another one.

Looking objectively at your roster, reis, you're in fine shape. With 2 picks left, you could use a 4th RB, 3rd QB, or 2nd TE/K.
If you're going to propose a trade, do some homework and make a proposal.
You picked Porter in Round 6. What do you imagine you could get for him? You didn't draft McCareins until IIRC the 11th. And frankly, I still see a couple decent alternatives for the *two* teams who don't have a 4th WR already.
Trolling for trades during the draft -- especially when you're on the clock -- is a waste of time. Why not just pick your guy and move on?Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

I'd rather watch you drop him.
As an old vet of FF, I would think you would plan these things...
You picked Porter in Round 6.

Hm, I notice you didn't respond to my main point, reis -- which would be to propose an actual trade (or at least state what position you'd want in return) instead of this vague "anybody wanna trade?" thing.
My mistake re the draft timing. Forgot about the unfortunate Boston incident...
Now you have buyer's remorse due to contract changes putting Brown in Tampa? Just goes to show you how misguided the whole replacement pick concept is.
I might consider taking McCareins off your hands btw.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

I'm going to pass on Tim Brown.
/me struggles to hold back tears.
It's tough, but I don't need anything else at WR. If someone picks him up, we'll definitely talk trade after the draft.
We'll still keep the Tampa love going, though, with this:

Zopper's turn
Btw, I guess this is as good a time as any to ask. Should we 'freeze' the rosters (ie, no waiver pickups, no dropping of players) until a week before the first game? This would allow there to be supplemental picks for training camp injuries (kind of like waivers, but not quite).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I'm in favor of freezing the drafted rosters until the day after the last preseason games. At that point, we can list all the injuries, retirements, etc. eligible for a supplemental draft. We then hold a quickie supp draft, after which time we could proceed normally with trades, waivers, etc.

Don't worry, -Jrabbit we are all noobs with the freezing thing. I know that FFZ does it and I'm blatently stealing it with some tweaks .
In past years, we'd just open things up after the draft. I'd rather not do that this year.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Well it's a bit different since we don't have a supplemental draft per se.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
