Yeah, I took my Kicker in the second to last round. Didn't want Jac to decide he wanted a backup kicker and take a TOP 5 kicker who for some reason hadn't been picked. Hell, I'd take him over just about any other upright splitter.

There are still a couple marginally top-10 kickers left, and about 5 or 6 I could live with. Even if all 4 picks before mine were kickers, I'd have a decent one.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Yep, so you gotta laugh at people taking kickers in the 10th round or so.
And Japher, you can replace the dude, you know that, right?“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

If I had 2 decent backups without BYE issues, I'd keep Boldin. He may only miss 5-6 games.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

I had to take 2 back-up WRs because Toomer and Boldin had the same bye, so I already have 2 back-ups' Lloyd and Streets. I don't think dropping him will help me any, unless I can drop him and pick up someone at another position. Still, how much would a backup TE/K/D help?

A last-round alternate backup would help for exactly one (bye) week. At this point, you can get equal value by waiting until after the draft.
Boldin's greatest value is as mid-season trade bait should Brandon or Tai get hot for you.
Or you can get Jerry Porter (via Tim Brown) and give up all rights to Boldin.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Sorry for the delay. Better take a Mydol and lay down for a while, JRabbit

-Jrabbit does have a good point about trade bait. And also that you may get better value if you wait after the draft. At that time you may get to see what has happened during training camp and if one of the rookie WRs has really showed he's going to step it up or something.
At worst it gave us something to talk about while Jac de Molay is away .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Hey, Eyes. He picked.
Take me best remaining rookie RB. A "Jones" would be good.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
