  • Another example of a Moore hatchet job, I guess. More interested in the entertainment than the facts... documentary?

Typical. Given his record, I'm sure some moron (I'm looking at you Sava) will be along to defend creative editing on Moore's part as a holy act or some such.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

And where did you hear this?

I'm surprised the accusations have started already, before the film's even be released. Or are we even talking about the film here, or it being edited out of the trailer?

But I was wrong, wasn't his own sons--it was Kennedy's nephews. And he is referring to the trailer, but a film spokesperson said his response was cut from the movie, too.

However, it seems even the nephews bit isn't true, as the one being deployed to Iraq is Kennedy's cousin's son, not a nephew. So now is Kennedy guilty of stretching the truth?

          • Well well I just checked out the trailer available in Michale Moore's website. It looks entertaining so I'll prolly will watch it. Though I have to be careful this time as Bowling for Columbine taught a lesson of documentaries and that he has a past of kind of playing with the material. In my eyes he lost his trust of making documentaries, however he gained points on making entertaining flicks. Smart man indeed but one has to wonder if his intentions are pure. After all measuring the quality of information includes: What is the source of this information. How does it look like comparing to what we know and does it change it, or build to it and finally what is the political motivation or other agenda behind this information. In my eyes he fails at least 2 on these important points.

The much talked scene where the president tells to cameras for every nation to fight terrorism and then says 'now what's this drive' immidiately afterwards and swings with his golf club.. I just fail to see anything dramatic about it. On the contrary, it almost looks pretty cool!

Have you ever watched documentaries on Discovery or TLC? They are fact-sparse.

              • Disney is making a wise business decision. While some will want to see it, most of those people are the abnormal cretins on the margins of our society. But being associated with such a film would hurt it's reputation among the respectable people of society.
