Well, I wouldn't care if their "outrage" was equally distributed... but it's not. It isn't the amount of money that these people make that bothers the Left, its the "type" of person who makes it that bothers them.

WOW JOHNT CAN USE A DICTIONARY!

There should be a medal for that.

For now, give yourself the day off. It's a proud accomplishment for yourself.

So, in a hypothetical chart of likely emotional reactions to being proven wrong, I can put a check mark in the "sarcastic" box beside your name, mrmitchell?

                Yes.

But he's still not a celebrity. Unlike, for example, Elvis (Presley), it wasn't Schultz who was "celebrated", but Peanuts.

I've always opposed the idea that dead artists earn copyright money. And I've always thought that sports celebrity were way, way too much paid as well.

But I find it less outrageous than big bosses indeed, for a simple reason: these artists and sportsmen aren't the ones who decide the wages of others. They don't decide to layoff people. They are not the foremost advocates of a system where the weak can go die in the gutter (I don't know if they do this in the US, since they have won, but they sure do in France).

The day the big bosses bundle their salary raise with their employees' is the day I'll respect them.

Akin to something like complaining about the instituting of moderation to Apolyton and then, a few short years later, becoming one of the mods?

I read that corporate profits grew around 80% in the last year while overall wages grew 4.5%. I'll find the article if I can... it was on CBSMarketWatch IIRC.
To us, it is the BEAST.

From the Economic Policy Institute if anyone wants to read how corporate profit growth is far outpacing wage growth.
