OK, so he was not planning to leave-and that is meaningless. It is not reasonable to think: "Hmm, if I saty, I will be kidnapped and beheaded". The guy is purely a victim-there are hundreds if not thousands of western civilians in Iraq, and the don't become all darwin candidates for being murdered.

If the guy walked into a firefight, that is one thing. Getting kidnapped, nope, no longer his fault in any way.
